                           Operational Appointments


Andrew Jones - Director, Group Strategy and Business Development

Andrew Jones, 36, will be responsible for Group strategy and development and
will work closely with the Divisional Chief Executives on their development
plans.

Mr Jones joins Vitec plc from Bunzl PLC where he was Director of Corporate
Development.  Prior to this he held financial and corporate development roles
with BET PLC (now part of Rentokil Initial PLC) and Gestetner PLC.

Mr Jones has a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages from Oriel College,
Oxford, and qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand.


Andy Crist - Chief Executive Officer, Broadcast Services Division

Andy Crist, 44, will be responsible for the Broadcast Services Division, which
currently consists of Bexel Inc. and Audio Systems Group.  This division
intends to grow by developing its existing businesses in video and audio
rentals and extending its activities into other service areas of the
broadcasting and entertainment industries.

Mr Crist joins Vitec from DVD Express, a US on-line video retailer, where he
was Chief Operating Officer.  Prior to this he was Vice President, Mergers and
Acquisitions, for Blockbuster Entertainment Group and Executive Director,
International Development, Alamo Rent-A-Car.

Mr Crist has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Duke University and an MBA
from the University of Michigan.  He lives in Los Angeles.
