In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, 
The Vitec Group plc ('Vitec' or the 'Company') is required to notify the market
of the following:
 
At the date of this announcement, Vitec's issued capital is 41,277,250 ordinary 
shares of 20 pence each, with voting rights.
 
The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.
 
The above figure of 41,277,250 may be used by shareholders to determine if they 
are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, 
Vitec under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
