Notification of Placing

Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited (the "Company" or "VEIL") notes today's announcement that Jefferies International Limited has launched an accelerated bookbuild offering to institutional investors (the "Transaction") for approximately 37 million existing ordinary shares in VEIL (representing approximately 17% of VEIL's issued share capital) on behalf of funds managed and advised by APG Asset Management N.V. (the "APG Funds"). This represents the full holding of the APG Funds in VEIL.

VEIL will not receive any proceeds from the Transaction.

The Company understands that a further announcement will be made following completion of the bookbuild and pricing of the Transaction.

This announcement has been determined to contain inside information for the purposes of the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014.
