VietNam Holding Limited (AIM: VNH) announces that as at close of business on 31 August 2008, its unaudited net asset value per share was US$ 1.526.  The 14% increase in NAV was primarily due the large positive movement of the VNI during August, in particular owing to gains in the Chemicals and Fertilizer as well as Construction and Materials sectors.
