Cancellation of shares from trading on AIM

VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited (the 'Company') today announces that further to the announcement dated 01 October 2015 setting out the background to the proposed migration of VOF from the Cayman Islands to Guernsey and the proposed change in trading venue from AIM to a premium listing on the Main Market on the London Stock Exchange, the Board announces that application has been made for the cancellation of admission to trading of its ordinary shares (the 'Shares') on AIM (the 'Cancellation'), to take effect on 20 November 2015.

In accordance with Rule 41 of the AIM Rules, the Company has notified the London Stock Exchange of its intention to cancel the admission of the Shares to trading on AIM, which is anticipated to take effect at 7.00am on 20 November 2015.

The Cancellation is subject to:

1.  Approval by shareholders at the EGM of the Company, to be held on 27 October 2015, of the resolution seeking authority for the de-registration of the Company in the Cayman Islands and the re-registration of the Company in Guernsey, together with the adoption of the Amended Articles, a new investment objective and new investment policy; and

2.  Publication in November of the Company's annual report, and the issue of the Company's prospectus in respect of the move to the Main Market.

Application will be made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange respectively for admission of all of the Shares to:

1. The premium listing segment of the Official List; and

2. Trading on the Main Market.

It is expected that admission to trading on the Main Market will become effective, and that dealings in the Shares on the Main Market will commence, on 20 November 2015.
