Notification of Transaction by the Investment Manager to VOF - 16 November 2020

VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund (LSE: VOF) (the "Company") has been notified by VinaCapital Group (the "Investment Manager"), that on 16 November 2020, Asia Investment and Finance Limited, a subsidiary of VinaCapital Group, sold 855,000 Ordinary Shares of the Company at a price of GBP 3.50 per share. The shares which have been sold were purchased by the Investment Manager using incentive fees received in previous years and have been held for over 12 months, as required by the Investment Management Agreement.

Following the sale, the beneficial interests of the Investment Manager in the issued capital of the Company will be as follows:

The Investment Manager continues to maintain a 1.0% beneficial interest in the Company as part of the Executive incentive and reward scheme for its senior management, portfolio managers, investment directors and staff. VinaCapital intends to use the proceeds from this sale to invest in the growth of its expanding asset management business and provide a strong base for investment as Vietnam's market enters a phase of strong economic recovery.
