Appointment of New Non-Executive Director

The Board of Bovis Homes Group PLC is pleased to announce that Dr Christine Browne OBE will be appointed a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2014.  Dr Browne will also be a member of the Nomination Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee.

Christine Browne is the Chief Operating Officer, Aviation, of TUI Travel plc, responsible for running a best in class operation with common standards across all operational areas of TUI's five airlines.  Christine has over twenty five years' experience in the travel sector.

Ian Tyler, non-executive Chairman, who led the recruitment process, said:

"I am very pleased to welcome Chris to the Board of Bovis Homes.  Chris' strong commercial and general management background in a consumer facing industry will be of great value and I look forward to her contribution."

Christine Browne said:

There is no information to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13R in respect of Christine Browne.  As at the date of this announcement, Christine has no beneficial interests in the ordinary shares of the Company.
