Appointment of Executive Director

The Board of Bovis Homes Group PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jonathan Hill as Group Finance Director.

Jonathan, a qualified accountant aged 42, has considerable financial experience having worked in senior finance positions in TUI Travel plc since 2004 including his most recent role as Director of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions.  Before working for TUI Travel, Jonathan held positions in Centrica Plc and BT Group plc after qualifying with Price Waterhouse.

Jonathan will take up his position on 23 August 2010.

Commenting on the new appointment, David Ritchie, Chief Executive, said:

"We are delighted that Jonathan is joining the Group as our new Group Finance Director.  Jonathan has been involved at a senior level for many years in publicly listed companies, including TUI Travel, and he brings considerable experience and expertise to his new role with Bovis Homes.  I look forward to working closely with Jonathan and forging a strong business partnership with him as we take the Group forward."

Jonathan does not hold any shares in Bovis Homes Group PLC.  There is no further information which would require disclosure under 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
