Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Bovis Homes Group PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of
John A Warren as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 March
2006.

Mr Warren has considerable financial experience and is a non-executive director
of Rank Group plc and Arla Foods UK plc. He was previously group finance
director of WH Smith PLC and of United Biscuits plc and a non-executive director
at RAC plc and Rexam plc.

As a result of this appointment the Board now comprises four non-executive
directors, including the non-executive Chairman, and two executive directors.

Mr Warren holds 2,500 shares in Bovis Homes Group PLC.

There is no further information which would require disclosure under 9.6.13R of
the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
