Notification of Interest of Directors and Connected Persons

Bovis Homes Group PLC announces that, on 8 November 1999,
238,878  Ordinary Shares of 50p each in the Company  were
allotted  and  issued  to  Bovis  Homes  (QUEST)  Company
Limited,  as  trustee  of  the  Bovis  Homes  Group   PLC
Qualifying   Employee  Share  Ownership   Trust,   at   a
subscription price of 272.5 pence per share  pursuant  to
the  Company's SAYE Share Option Scheme.  As a result  of
the  allotment and issue, the following Directors of  the
Company,  as beneficiaries of the trust, all collectively
have  an interest in the 238,878 Ordinary Shares  of  50p
each in the Company: -
