Bovis Homes Group plc ('the Company')
The Company has established the Bovis Homes Group Long Term
Incentive Plan ('the Plan') for the purposes of providing a
long term share incentive scheme for senior executives of
the Bovis Homes Group.
The Company announces the purchase on 11 May 2000 of 188,414
ordinary shares in the Company ('Shares') by the Bovis Homes
Group Employee Trust ('the Trust') at a price of £3.09 per
Share for the purpose of satisfying awards under the Plan in
due course.
The Trust is a discretionary trust under which all employees
of the Bovis Homes Group are potential beneficiaries. Each
of the Executive Directors of the Company is, for Companies
Act purposes, regarded as interested in all Shares held by
the Trust. Despite the technical interest in all the Shares
each Executive Director will only be entitled to receive
from the Trust the number of Shares to which he is entitled
on realisation of an award granted to him under the Plan.
Awards over Shares held in the Trust were granted on 11 May
2000 as follows:
