Bovis Homes Group PLC - Scrip Dividend Alternative
Scrip Dividend
As previously announced, the reference price of a new ordinary share under the
scrip dividend alternative for the 2007 final dividend was set at 601.3p and
this was the average of the middle market quotations for the Company's shares as
derived from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List for the five
successive business days commencing with the ex-dividend date of 26 March 2008.
The scrip dividend circular sent to shareholders on 11 April 2008 states that
should the middle market quotation for the Company's shares as derived from the
London Stock Exchange Daily Official List be 511.105p or less by 9 May 2008,
being 15% or more below the reference price, the Board intends to declare
elections void in order to protect shareholders.
The middle market quotation for the Company's shares on 9 May 2008 was 488.00p
and the Board has, accordingly, declared all scrip dividend elections for the
2007 final dividend void. All shareholders will therefore receive their full
dividend entitlement in cash.
