For the purposes of the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 please
note that Bovis Homes Group PLC's capital consists of 120,576,542 ordinary 50p
shares with voting rights. Bovis Homes Group PLC does not hold any shares in
treasury. 

This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in Bovis Homes Group PLC under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
