                       VODAFONE ANALYST AND INVESTOR DAY

Vodafone Group Plc ('Vodafone') is today hosting an analyst and investor day in
London, which will focus on Vodafone Essar, its operation in India.

The day will be introduced by Arun Sarin, Vodafone's Chief Executive, who will
reaffirm Vodafone's stated financial and operating assumptions for India. This
will be followed by a series of presentations led by Asim Ghosh, CEO Vodafone
Essar, demonstrating how Vodafone is realising the significant growth
opportunity in India. The day will conclude with Paul Donovan, CEO EMAPA Region,
highlighting the value Vodafone brings to its emerging market assets.
