VODAFONE GROUP PLC - NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR LEAVES BOARD
Vodafone Group Plc ('Vodafone') announces that Donald G Fisher has
tendered his resignation as a non-executive director and will leave the
Board immediately.
Mr Fisher joined the Vodafone Board on completion of the Company's
merger with AirTouch Communications Inc. on 30 June 1999, having been one
of AirTouch's first outside directors.
Lord MacLaurin, Chairman of Vodafone said: 'We have enjoyed working with Don
on the Board and on the Remuneration Committee and would like to put on record
our thanks for his advice and help in the integration of Vodafone and
AirTouch. He leaves with our best wishes.'
