VODAFONE AWARDS UNIPART EXCLUSIVE LOGISTICS AGREEMENT

Vodafone  UK Limited has awarded an exclusive contract  to  Unipart
Group  of  Companies under which Unipart's Demand Chain  Management
Division will supply a wide range of warehousing, distribution  and
logistics  services for all mobile phones and accessories  sold  by
Vodafone in the UK.  The five year agreement is expected to involve
sales in the region of £125 million.

Under  the  agreement Unipart will provide central warehousing  and
distribution  function for all Vodafone business in the  UK.   This
will  include;  the receipt of new telephones and accessories  from
manufacturers, stock control and storage, picking and  packing  and
the  management  of  distribution sub-contractors  to  deliver  the
phones to businesses, home addresses and retail outlets.

The new business will be housed in Unipart's new facility close  to
its  existing  Distribution Centre in Baginton.   Approximately  50
employees  who  have been appointed from within the  Unipart  Group
will  be operating these services and Unipart will then recruit  as
the business requires.

in  the  UK  is  forecast to more than double within the  next  two

leading logistics groups, will enable us to handle that substantial
growth and at the same time will improve service and quality to our
customers.'

John  Neill,  Group  Chief Executive, Unipart Group  of  Companies,
