1 Vodafone's proforma proportionate subscriber base for
Verizon Wireless at the end of June 2000 was 10.850
million. This takes into account the addition of the GTE
and the ALLTEL properties and adjusts for Vodafone's
ownership change from 65% to 45%. This also adjusts for
Verizon Wireless's proportionate ownership of its
customer base of approximately 94.8%.
