In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1), I have to inform 
you that the Company was advised on 27 September 2007 that, on 27 September 
2007, Stephen Roy Scott, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility, 
exercised options granted in July 2001 over 950,678 ordinary shares of 
US$0.11 3/7 each as follows:-

        157.50p                                             804,478

        151.56p                                             146,200

887,784 shares were subsequently sold to defray the costs of exercise and the 
associated tax and NI charges at a price of £1.77.

The remaining 62,894 shares have been retained.
