3.1.4R(1), I have to inform you that the Company was advised on 4 October 2005
by The Share Centre that on 3 October 2005, Sir Julian Horn-Smith, a director 
of the Company, acquired 77 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each through his
participation in a Dividend Reinvestment Plan, for which each share was valued
at 147.25p.
