Vodafone AirTouch Plc ('the Company')
In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I have to inform you
that today Lord MacLaurin of Knebworth, Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of the
Company, purchased 5,700 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the Company at the
price of 351p per share, increasing his total interest to 67,800 shares.
