Vodafone AirTouch Plc ('the Company')

The Company announces that the following directors have today been granted
options over ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the Company pursuant to the
rules of the Vodafone Group 1998 Company Share Option Scheme ('Company
Scheme') and the Vodafone Group 1998 Executive Share Option Scheme ('Executive
Scheme') at a price of 282.3p per share, as follows:
