ANNOUNCES FORTHCOMING DEBUT EURO-DENOMINATED BOND ISSUE
Vodafone AirTouch Plc, which is rated A2/A by Moody's and
Standard and Poor's respectively, announced today that it has
mandated Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank to jointly lead
manage its forthcoming debut Euro-denominated bond issue. The
size of the issue is to be determined and it is likely to have
a maturity of 5, 7 or 10 years depending on investor
sentiment. The issue will be launched following the
completion of a programme of investor presentations, which
will take place shortly, and subject to market conditions.
