Phase 1 Clearance for Mannesmann Acquisition

Vodafone AirTouch PLC 12 April 2000 VODAFONE AIRTOUCH RECEIVES PHASE 1 CLEARANCE Vodafone AirTouch Plc ('Vodafone AirTouch') announces that it has today been notified by the EU Commission that it has received Phase 1 clearance for its acquisition of Mannesmann AG.
