                                BOARD CHANGE







Volex Group p.l.c. the world's leading independent producer of electronic cable
assemblies and electrical power cords announces that, in line with the
indications given in the 2002 Annual Report and Accounts, Mr. Bill Goodall, who
stood down as Chairman on 22nd July 2002, will retire from the Board on 3rd
December 2002.



Mr. Goodall has served as a director of the Company for 14 years, 10 years as
Chairman.  His contribution to the development of the Group and his leadership
of the Board has been outstanding.
