Volex  Group  p.l.c. the world's leading independent
producer  of electrical   power   cords  and  electronic
interconnect   cable assemblies,  announces that for
personal reasons Mr.  Peter  Ford has today resigned as a
director of the Company.

Volex  is well advanced in strengthening the Group Marketing
and Business  Development functions previously covered by
Mr.  Ford. Over  the  past  few  years  our sales
organisations  have  been structured under the regional
Managing Directors and no change is envisaged.
