Total Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1R and the European Transparency Directive, Volex plc confirms that at the date of this announcement it has an issued share capital of 63,486,712 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") and therefore the total number of Volex plc shares with voting rights is 63,486,712.

The above figure of 63,486,712 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Volex plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

In addition, the above figure includes 5,055,598 shares currently held by Volex Employee Share

Trust and therefore excluded from the Company's Earnings Per Share ("EPS") calculation. Therefore, the total number of Volex plc shares used for EPS calculations is 58,431,114 shares.
