TORRENT TRACKSIDE EXPANSION
Vibroplant Plc, via its Torrent Trackside subsidiary, has acquired the assets
of Hewden Stuart Plc's rail division.
Jeremy Pilkington, Chairman and Chief Executive of Vibroplant said 'the
acquisition of these assets by Torrent Trackside is a further important step
in the development of this business as a leading supplier to the railtrack
maintenance market'.
The assets will be used to expand Torrent Trackside's area of activity into
the South East of England and further consolidates its national network. The
consideration paid was not material in the context of the Vibroplant group.
