Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, today announces the acquisition, by its
tool hire subsidiary Hire Station, of the business and assets of ET Hire
Limited's operations in Scotland, for a cash consideration of £1.1million.

The business comprises three branches in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Livingston with
over 14 years of successful trading.

Neil Stothard, Group Managing Director, commented:

'The acquisition of this business significantly strengthens our distribution
capability in Scotland in support of revenue growth opportunities available for
tool hire in this region.'
