AGM Statement

Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, announces that at the Group's Annual General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions put to Shareholders by the Board were duly passed.

Speaking at the meeting, Jeremy Pilkington, Chairman, commented:

"We reported in May that the new financial year had started well and in line with our expectations.  I am pleased to confirm that this trend has been maintained.  The markets which the Group serves remain challenging but our businesses continue to identify and secure new opportunities.  We were very pleased to report last week the acquisition of two rental businesses from the Balfour Beatty Group, further strengthening our business relationship with this important client, and demonstrating our ability to utilise our financial strength to pursue investment opportunities in support of delivering increased shareholder value."
