ACQUISITION OF STOCKHOLM INVESTMENTS LTD
The board of directors of W. H. Ireland Group plc, the financial services
group, is pleased to announce that the acquisition of Stockholm Investments
Limited has now been completed on the terms outlined in the announcement made
on 28th September 2001.
The business will be transferred to W.H. Ireland with effect from the opening
of business on Monday 29th October 2001.
Chief executive Laurie Beevers said 'The acquisition of Stockholm Investments,
bringing with it the experienced team of Nick Alexander and John Eastgate, is
an important step forward in the development of our London office. We have
always stated that attracting and motivating quality personnel is a key element
of our strategy, and we will continue to seek similar opportunities'
