W. H. IRELAND GROUP plc
Group's Broking Subsidiary appoints Managing Director
W.H. Ireland Group plc is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, W.H. Ireland
Limited, which provides stockbroking, investment management and corporate
finance services, has appointed Chris Muir as Managing Director, with effect
from 1 September 2005. This is not currently a plc board appointment.
Mr. Muir has over 20 years experience of stockbroking and joins the Group's
subsidiary from Brewin Dolphin where from 1999 until present he was Group
Operations Director. Previously, he was Director of Administration at Wise
Speke. He also worked at Seymour Pierce Butterfield as Head of UK Operations.
After the handover to Chris Muir, Richard Lee, currently Managing Director of
W.H. Ireland Limited, will continue in his role as Executive Director of W.H.
Ireland Group plc.
