                          Proposed Dividend Timetable


Further to the announcement of its preliminary results for the year ended 
30th November 2005, W. H. Ireland is please to announce the timetable for the 
proposed payment of the final dividend of 2.5p. As previously announced, 
W.H.Ireland is once again offering shareholders a scrip dividend alternative 
in respect of the final dividend.

Expected Timetable of Events

Record date                                                         10th March
Posting of forms of election to receive scrip dividend              17th March
Final date for receipt of forms of election                         11th April
Payment date                                                        28th April


It is anticipated that further details of the scrip dividend alternative will 
be sent to shareholders in line with the timetable set out above.
