The board of Walker Crips Weddle Beck plc regret to announce the death of Graham
Kennedy CVO who has been Chairman of the company since 2000 and wishes to record
the thanks it owes to him for his contribution to the group's development during
his seven years in office.

Senior independent director, Martin Wright, has agreed to act as Chairman until
a successor is appointed.
