Appointment of directors
The board of web-angel plc is pleased to announce the appointment of
Jens-Reinert Bjaroy as Director of Business Development and Olav zu Ermgassen
as a Non-Executive Director, both with effect from 14 June 2001, their details
are as follows:
Jens Bjaroy is a qualified architect from Zurich Institute of Technology and a
BA in Economics from St. Gale School of Business and an MBA from INSEAD. He
has more than 20 years of international business experience as investment
advisor running his own business from Singapore, Malaysia, France, USA, Sweden
and UK. For the last couple of years he has been active in the Swedish
wireless market and with partners developed some successful companies in
internet security and system integration companies which were sold off to some
major technical consultant companies.
The directorships held by Jens Bjaroy (aged 54) over the five years preceding
the date of appointment are as follows:
Current: Chairman, Fondec AB, from 1994 to present
Previous: Board Member, Media Communication Int. AB, from 1998 to 1999
Advisory Board Member, Control Data System (CDS), from 1997 to 1999
There are no other matters which are required to be announced as required
under paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
Olav Ermgassen is a founder of Ermgassen & Co. He is a qualified German lawyer
and holds a doctorate degree in law from the University of Freiburg and an MBA
from INSEAD. He has more than 20 years corporate finance experience in London,
New York and Tokyo with Hambros Bank, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Ermgassen
& Co. Prior to founding Ermgassen & Co. in 1988, he headed Morgan Stanley's
division for Corporate Finance for German speaking countries, and set up
Morgan Stanley GmbH, Frankfurt, of which he was the first Managing Director.
The directorships held by Olav Ermgassen (aged 54) over the five years
preceding the date of appointment are as follows:
Current: Director, Ermgassen & Co
Chairman Supervisory Board, Fortress Immobilien AG, Germany
Member Supervisory Board, Clean Car AG, Germany
Previous: None
There are no other matters which are required to be announced as required
under paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
