In accordance with LR 9.6.14R  The Weir Group PLC hereby notifies the following change in the information set out in Listing Rule 9.6.13R(1) in respect of Melanie Gee.  Melanie Gee is to be appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Drax Group plc with effect from 1 January 2013.  Melanie will also be appointed as a member of Drax Group's Audit, Nominations and Remuneration Committees.
