The Weir Group PLC hereby announces that Gavin Nicol who will assume the role of
Director  of  Operations  Support  and  Development on 1 July 2011, holds 1,152
shares  in The Weir  Group PLC.  Gavin  has also been  granted options under the
Weir   Group   Long  Term  Incentive  Plan  over  13,444 Performance  Shares  in
2009, 10,688 Performance Shares in 2010 and 9,331 Performance Shares in 2011.
