Weir Group PLC announces that Mark Selway and Alan Mitchelson have today
exercised share options under the Weir Group Executive Share Option Scheme 1994
as follows:

After selling sufficient shares (at 363.75p) to pay for the exercise, tax and
national insurance, the remainder has been retained and the total shareholding
of both directors is now as follows:
