The Weir Group PLC announces that one of its directors, Ian Mair Boyd, has today
exercised options granted on 4 October 1994 for 100,000 ordinary shares of 12.5p
each in the Company at an exercise price of 261p per share. The entire holding
was transferred to his wife, Mrs T Boyd, who subsequently sold the entire
100,000 ordinary shares for 280p per share.
