Completion of acquisition of Seaboard Holdings Inc.

Further   to   our  announcement  on  23 November  2011 regarding  the  proposed
acquisition   of   the   wellhead  solutions  provider  Seaboard  Holdings  Inc.
("Seaboard"),   The   Weir   Group   PLC   confirms   that  the  acquisition  of
Seaboard completed on 14 December 2011.

Terms  used  in  this  announcement  have  the  same  meaning  as set out in the
announcement dated 23 November 2010.
