Transfer of Treasury Shares

The Weir Group PLC ("the Company") announces that on 16 and 27 March 2012, 183,616 and 305,453 ordinary shares of 12.5p each, respectively, held as treasury shares were transferred to participants to satisfy awards granted in 2009 under the Group Long Term Incentive Plan.

Following the above transfer, the Company now holds 1,221,219 ordinary shares in treasury and has 212,376,242 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares).
