Proposed appointment
At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 2, 2009, it
will be proposed to appoint Mr D.J. Anbeek as a statutory director of
Wereldhave N.V.. Mr Anbeek currently holds the position of Director
Franchise and Real Estate at Albert Heijn.
Dividend payment date
An optional dividend of EUR 4.65 per ordinary share will be proposed
to the General Meeting of Shareholders for 2008, of which EUR 2.55 in
cash, subject to withholding tax, and EUR 2.10 in cash or in shares,
at the option of the shareholder, free of withholding tax. The ratio
of the dividend that is to be paid out in shares will be announced on
March 20, 2009 after trading hours. Shareholders can make their
choice between cash and shares from April 6 to April 20. The dividend
payment date has been changed to April 24, to offer shareholders
ample opportunities to communicate their choice to their bank or
broker.
