Consultancy Services - Caribbean

Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster' or the 'Group'), the AIM listed supplier of system solutions and products to the security, defence, fire protection and safety markets worldwide, is pleased to announce that its Technology Division has secured a new contract to undertake an extensive security consultancy project for a Caribbean government.

The contract, secured by Westminster International, is for the provision of consultancy services to review and assess the country's K9 law enforcement operations, including Police, Customs, Prisons and Army. The contract will involve a needs evaluation for each agency including a full training needs evaluation; a review of each unit's K9 standards; and a review of standard operating procedures and current deployment practices.  In addition, the project will involve an assessment of kennelling facilities; a veterinary assessment of each dog; a feasibility study for a national training centre and national breeding program; and the preparation of a strategic development plan. 

The contract will commence immediately and involve a specialist Westminster team being deployed in the country concerned for several weeks.
