Westminster Group Plc: New contract award
Complete Security Solution for one of the UK's finest Stately Homes
Westminster Group plc, the AIM listed supplier of system solutions and products
to the security, defence, fire protection and safety markets worldwide,
announces that it has been awarded a prestigious new contract to provide a
complete security solution to protect one of the finest stately homes in the UK,
located in the South-East.
The contract, valued at approximately £450,000, will involve the complete
overhaul of security of the house and grounds, including the installation of
covert perimeter detection solutions and ground based radar, integrated with
sophisticated surveillance equipment designed to detect and track any potential
intruders approaching the property. It will also involve a complete overhaul of
security within the building itself including the installation of a
state-of-the-art Control & Command system from which all the systems will be
monitored and controlled.
Commenting on the latest contract awards, Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of
Westminster Group, said:
'Following a number of recent contract successes from around the world I am
delighted Westminster has been awarded a prestigious new contract within the UK.
There is no doubt in my mind that our listing on the AIM market of the London
Stock Exchange earlier this year has been a major contributing factor towards
raising the Group's profile and this in turn has helped secure a lot of new
business and dramatically increased our quote bank.'
