Westminster Group Plc:
Technology Division
New Contract Awards valued at $750,000
Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster' or the 'Group'), the AIM listed supplier of managed services and technology based security solutions to governments and government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGO's) and blue chip commercial organisations worldwide, is pleased to announce that its Technology Division has commenced 2015 with a number of important contract awards with a combined value of approximately $750,000 USD.
The six contract awards include protection equipment for a nuclear facility in North America; advanced screening solutions in West Africa; and security solutions for a North African postal service, a museum in Egypt, a UK prison and a Southern African police service.
These contracts follow the Technology Division's successful award of the US $4.4m America's consultancy contract announced in December 2014.
Commenting on the contracts, Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:
"The strong start to 2015 in the Technology Division mirrors the excellent performance of the Managed Services Division which has just announced its Memorandum of Understanding with an Asian government for airport security services and, prior to Christmas, its 21 year Ferry contract.
"The performance across both divisions; and the range of products, services and geographies where we are winning contracts; goes to highlight the reach and momentum achieved by the Group."
