IATA Strategic Partner for Security
Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster' or the 'Group'), the AIM listed supplier of system solutions and products to the security, defence, fire protection and safety markets worldwide, is pleased to announce that Westminster Aviation Security Services ('WASS'), part of the Group's Managed Services Division, has been approved as a Strategic Partner for Security by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
IATA is the trade association for the world's airlines, representing some 84% of total global air traffic and aims to improve the understanding of the air transport industry among decision makers by increasing awareness of the benefits that aviation brings to national and global economies and helping formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues.
Commenting on the selection Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:
