On Wednesday 20 January 2010, Paul Harbottle, Chief Operating Officer at JD Wetherspoon plc sold 9,491 of the company's ordinary shares at a price of 462.3p per share. 

Following the above transactions, Mr Harbottle now holds an interest of 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company.
