The Company announces that Tim Martin, Chairman of JD Wetherspoon plc, purchased
250,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 389.4395p per share on 21 November
2007.

Following this transaction, Mr Martin now holds an interest in 32,272,807
ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 22.8% of the
Company's issued share capital.
