Notification of transactions of directors, persons discharging managerial responsibility (PDMR) or connected parties

The Company has today been informed that on Friday 11 March 2011, Martin Geoghegan a PDMR at JD Wetherspoon plc transferred 4,661 of the company's ordinary shares to his wife, Helena Geoghegan.

Following the above transactions, Mr Geoghegan holds 12,513 shares and Mrs Geoghegan holds 9,811 ordinary shares in the Company.
