On Wednesday 4 May 2011, John Hutson, Chief Executive Officer at JD Wetherspoon plc sold 20,000 of the Company's ordinary shares at a price of 454p per share.

Following the above transaction, Mr Hutson now holds an interest of 34,801 ordinary shares in the Company.
