On Wednesday 7 April 2010, John Hutson, Chief Executive Officer at JD Wetherspoon plc sold 20,000 of the Company's ordinary shares at a price of 516.8p per share.

Following the above transaction, Mr Hutson now holds an interest of 91,628 ordinary shares in the Company.
